PRODUCT REBRANDING
The goal of this project was to rebrand a product line from a real-life company or one of our creation. The company I selected was Planet Oat, Oat milk. The strategy was to separate Planet Oat from its competitors by using saturated colors, playful illustrations, and a streamlined organization of information. The theme of the packaging is outer space and showcases an astronaut on the front of the packaging, as well as other space and oat themed illustrations scattered about the box.

2D ELEMENTS

WHAT ARE THE 2D ARTIFACTS FOR?
For the 2D element of the project, I created tags that would either be stacked in a tray on the outside of the fridge at the grocery store or be attached to the individual product by hanging the tag off of the milk cartons cap. The reasoning behind my choice for this tag is that by offering consumers a coupon, and directing them to the company's website, there is a higher chance a first time buyer might want to try a carton. By having the tags on the outside of the fridge, it has a better chance of catching a consumer's eye and standing out. The current prototypes of the tags correspond to the flavors of milk available, but there are many possible colors/ design combinations that could be used for sales or holiday seasons.

This is a product mockup of the tags.
